FCS-926은 디지털 조종 방식의 아날로그 파라메트릭 필터 세트, 그래픽 처리된 스펙트럼 에널라이저, 그리고 MIDI 컨트롤이 가능한 기기입니다.

FCS-920은 FCS-926과 같은 이퀄라이저 프로세싱 기능을 갖춘 슬레이브 기기로 전면판 조종 기능이 없습니다. VARICURVE의 멀티 밴드 파라메트릭 이퀄라이저는 시중에서 흔히 볼 수 있는 수동 혹은 프로그램할 수 있는 여타의 그래픽 이퀄라이저보다 더욱 세밀하고 월등한 이퀄라이저 Contour를 만들며 어떤 장소에서도 쉽게 사용할 수 있습니다. 각 기기는 6밴드 파라메트릭 이퀄라이저의 2채널을 제공하며, 또는 12개의 모노 밴드 이퀄라이저로 지정할 수 있습니다.

The FCS-926 combines a digital-controlled analogue parametric filter set with intuitive assignable controls, fully interactive graphic display and intelligent spectrum analyser, plus MIDI control. The FCS-920 is a 1U slave module with the same EQ processing facilities as the FCS-926 but with no front panel controls.

VARICURVE's multiband parametric equalisation creates a more accurate and sonically superior EQ contour than conventional manual or programmable graphic equalisers, and is equally at home on Front-of-House, Monitor, or Studio Equalisation. Each unit offers two channels of 6 band parametric EQ, or can be set to a mono 12 band equaliser. Any filter may be set to one of 212 frequencies, with a cut/boost of +/-15dB, or notch of 30dB, and a variable filter bandwidth of 0.1 to 2 octaves. An integral spectrum analyser provides a fast method of measuring room response and automatically determining the correct EQ curve (as a first approximation).
